Collette's uncle Steve helped us by starting the bathroom floor, and it looks awesome. While he did that Collette and I put down the hard wood in the bedroom. Huge thanks to Paul Lammert for letting us borrow his compressor and nail guns. I didn't realize just how much a normal nail gun is used when laying a floor. The big fancy floor nailer only gets so close to a wall (about 10-12"), then you have to finish it with a normal nailer and nail the boards from the top down instead of through the tongues like the floor nailer. We're also more sore than ever after this weekend.
